Former Ipswich Town defender James Wilson has left Bristol following their relegation to League Two.
The 36-year-old started his career with their arch-rivals Bristol City, going out on loan to Brentford and Cheltenham Town before making a permanent switch to Oldham in 2014.
Spells at Sheffield United and Lincoln City came either side of a loan at Walsall, with the Blues signing him from the Imps in August 2019.
Wilson made 49 appearances for Town, scoring twice in two seasons at the club. He was released at the end of his contract in 2021, with Paul Cook informing him that he wasn't in his plans for the following campaign.

That led to a move to Plymouth Argyle, helping them secure promotion to the Championship, but his spell with Bristol Rovers wasn't as successful. Signing in June 2023, he became a regular starter, playing every minute of the 2024/25 campaign.
That, however, ended in relegation, with the Gas sitting 22nd in League One after 46 games.
They originally triggered a one-year extension, but his contract has since been terminated by mutual consent, allowing him to move elsewhere for free this summer.
