Former Ipswich Town defender Tom Eastman has signed for Maldon & Tiptree for the 2025/26 season.

The 33-year-old joins the Jammers after a two-year spell at Dagenham & Redbridge which ended with relegation from the National League this campaign.

Eastman made 28 appearances in all competitions for the Daggers in 2024/25 and was named their Player of the Year.

He now links up with ambitious Isthmian League North Division side Maldon, who are managed by Kevin Horlock.

The former Town midfielder took over the Essex side in February after departing his role at Suffolk non-league outfit Needham Market.

They finished 13th last campaign but their new owners Barrie and Scott Drewitt-Barlow have big hopes of promotion.

Eastman previously spent over a decade at Colchester United, where he racked up over 450 appearances for the U's, having joined them from Town in 2011.

He came through the ranks at Portman Road, getting sent-off on his debut against Sheffield United, before featuring a further 12 times.
