Feel bit sorry for Harness, served Town well, came on in first 2 games in Prem but I guess the thinking was an abundance of wingers but with injuries to Burns and Ogbene he may of been useful, must of been no recall clause I guess.
Glad he doing well at Derby, I would imagine he will be sold in Summer as although he can play in Championship I don't suppose he wants to play in another promotion challenge team (if relegated) and not get a chance in Prem and if we stay up he defo be sold, I think Man City will buy Delap back if he goes anywhere because he is their academy player so it just makes sense for them to buy him back for 40 and keep him for a season or sell him for 45-50mill themselves, pure profit for us and them but of course if, as hoped City are points deducted and we stay up its different ball game if they embargoed. Its a complicated one for sure, if he is the next Harry Kane and goes on to be England main striker and worth 100 mill etc I don't think Man City will want a top 6 club going for him.
I do wonder if a Spurs loan might be best for all in return for one of their young strikers if relegated but I still think we will catch Wolves

We have a 1 year option on Harness. We could exercise it & he would be a useful championship player next season, especially with injury doubts over Ogbene & Burns, or we could probably get a small fee for him from a Championship club.

Could do worse than have him back next season?

Good player but not going to get regular football at Ipswich bottom half of championship is probably his mark. If we are going to build a team that can compete in the Premier league we need to add better quality to our squad.

A really good player, and better human being with the ability to raise his game to the required level which he showed when he did get Prem game time. 1 of a few regrets that we did not keep him in the building for a little longer, but he rightly deserved to be playing regularly! Well done Marcus, well deserved am sure.
