Premier League acca: Football accumulator tips for this weekend (18-19 March 2023)

The FA Cup quarter-finals take place this weekend, but we still have six Premier League games to look forward to - and we have created our own accumulator featuring five of them.

A £10 wager on our three-leg acca would pay out £44.55, while the same stake on our five-leg version offers a potential return of £152.01.

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Leeds United: Under 2.5 goals (8/13)

Wolverhampton Wanderers are struggling to leave the relegation battle behind once and for all.

Their upward trajectory under Julen Lopetegui has stalled of late, with only one win in their last five matches.

A 2-1 defeat by Newcastle United last time out means they head into this weekend’s game just three points clear of the drop zone.

Lopetegui has overseen a general improvement since he took charge over the World Cup break, but Wolves are still the joint-lowest scorers in the top flight.

Remarkably, it is now more than a year since a striker last scored for Wolves in the Premier League.

A majority of their wins this season have been by a 1-0 scoreline, so no one should expect a thriller at Molineux on Saturday.

Leeds have generally tightened up under Javi Gracia, notwithstanding a 2-2 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion in their most recent fixture.

Go for under 2.5 goals at 8/13 with bet365.

Chelsea vs Everton: Chelsea to win (4/9)

Chelsea may have turned a corner. A run of three wins on the bounce - the first time they have done that since October - has eased the pressure on Graham Potter.

This has still been a disappointing campaign for the Blues, who only really have the Champions League left to play for.

Indeed, despite recent top-flight victories over Leeds (1-0) and Leicester (3-1), Chelsea are 11 points adrift of the top four.

That deficit would probably be insurmountable even if Potter’s team were to go unbeaten for the remainder of the season.

Even so, Chelsea will be looking to maintain the momentum they have built up since the beginning of the month.

Everton have a dismal record on the road, with just one win at opposition grounds all season long.

They are conceding too many goals away from home and still have problems at the other end of the field, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin given a 50-50 chance of being fit enough to feature.

Tip a Chelsea win at 4/9 with bet365.

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace: Arsenal to win to nil (10/11)

With Manchester City in FA Cup action this weekend, Arsenal have the chance to move eight points clear at the summit of the standings.

That would be a major psychological boost for Mikel Arteta’s men, particularly as City have a tough assignment against Liverpool in their first fixture after the international break.

There is a chance that tiredness might begin to creep in for the Gunners, who were in Europa League action again on Thursday.

But that was also the case last week and Arsenal went on to breeze past Fulham a few days later.

That was a seriously impressive performance at Craven Cottage and a repeat here would bring the table-toppers another three points.

Crystal Palace are very much a part of the relegation conversation after a run of 11 games without a win.

Palace are struggling for goals and they will find it difficult to penetrate Arsenal’s backline at the Emirates Stadium.

Back Arsenal to win to nil at 10/11 with bet365.

Back the 3-fold acca

Add the following two bets to make it a 5-fold acca.

Aston Villa vs Bournemouth: Ollie Watkins to score any time (13/8)

A 1-0 triumph over Liverpool last time out will have given Bournemouth real belief that they can survive the drop.

The Cherries have been written off since before the season started, but they still have a fighting chance of finishing above the dreaded dotted line.

Gary O’Neil’s side are still conceding too many goals, though, and they had a shanked Mohamed Salah penalty to thank for their clean sheet last weekend.

They have conceded a league-high 51 goals this term and will struggle to keep out an Aston Villa side that has scored in each of its last 15 games in all competitions.

Ollie Watkins is Villa’s chief goal threat and he will be looking to build on a record which has seen him score six times in his last seven appearances.

Choose Ollie Watkins as an anytime goalscorer at 13/8 with bet365.

Southampton vs Tottenham Hotspur: Over 1.5 goals (3/10)

Tottenham picked up a much-needed win against Nottingham Forest last weekend.

After three disappointing results on the bounce - FA Cup elimination at the hands of Sheffield United, a 1-0 defeat by Wolves, and an aggregate loss to AC Milan in the Champions League - Spurs bounced back to beat Steve Cooper’s side 3-1.

Fourth place is theirs to lose, at least in terms of points on the board. Tottenham lead the way ahead of the likes of Liverpool, Newcastle and Brighton.

But Antonio Conte’s men have been consistently inconsistent this term, so we cannot take anything for granted at St Mary’s.

Southampton have shown signs of improvement under Ruben Selles, who has succeeded in making the team tougher to play against, although they did go down 2-0 to Brentford in midweek.

This is unlikely to be an end-to-end thriller. But with the attacking talent at Tottenham’s disposal, over 1.5 goals looks like a decent choice to round off our acca.

Add over 1.5 goals to your acca at 3/10 with bet365.
