Noni Madueke had to be restrained by Chelsea coach Jesus Perez following a dramatic finale at Villa Park.
The Blues looked like they had secured a 96th-minute winner when Axel Disasi headed home from close range to make it 3-2 to the Londoners.

However that effort was disallowed due to a lengthy VAR delay which saw referee Craig Pawson called to the pitchside monitor to take a look at the incident.
That was due to a push from Benoit Badiashile in the build-up to the goal.
As a result, the final whistle blew with the score at 2-2, denying Chelsea the chance to pull off the ultimate comeback.
Clearly unhappy at the decision, Madueke berated Pawson after the final whistle with the referee brandishing him a yellow card.

Badiashile was also booked for his protests before Mauricio Pochettino's number two Perez sprinted towards the two players to drag them away from the officials.
Madueke wasn't the only person furious, with Pochettino saying post-match that decisions like this are 'damaging English football'.
Speaking to TNT Sports, Pochettino said: “Everyone that was watching the game feels disappointed.
“I think we need to explain to the people two things – it was the referee saying foul and disallowing the goal and then going to VAR.

“But when the referee doesn’t see anything and then goes to the VAR which changes the decision of the referee – I’m going to say nothing.
“I don’t want to talk bad about the referee, but it’s unbelievable, it’s ridiculous. It’s difficult to accept this sort of thing.

“It’s really painful because it’s damaged English football, for me.
“It’s damaged the image and I think even an Aston Villa player or even the fans didn’t understand why they disallowed the goal.”
As a result, Chelsea remain in ninth place and six points behind Manchester United in sixth with a game in hand.
Meanwhile Aston Villa remain fourth and seven points clear of fifth-place Tottenham.
